We are a prestigious Food Product manufacturing and distribution company. Currently looking for a Project Manager to join our Technical Services-Quality Assurance.
Our ideal candidate will manage a variety of programs, projects, and resources related to our core technologies and categories. She or she will recommend, initiate and manage new projects and programs. Develop and utilize, in coordination with other technical staff, new hypotheses and technologies as it relates to identifying new business/technical innovation and opportunities. Manages all bench to commercialization objectives in a timely manner. Must be willing to travel.

#### What You Will Be Doing
Responsible for identifying and managing product and process development of new, adjacent, or current core technologies and categories.
Responsible for overall project tracking, communication, and documentation utilizing notebook and formulation management system. Also responsible for interactive communication to sales, marketing, operations, senior technical services staff, and customers.
Provides in depth theoretical expertise in multiple technical core competency.
Keeps abreast of current scientific developments in and outside company core technologies. May recommend patent action.
May represent Vice President or Director, at meetings and/or industry events. May interview and recommend hiring of technical and management personnel.
Recommends and/or initiates projects within existing programs and/or business channels
Identifies new hypotheses/technology and designs and conducts research program to verify validity.
#### What You Need for this Position
Bachelors of Science in Food Science or related degree, with a minimum tens years' experience in the food industry
Masters of Science in Food Science degree with a minimum of seven to ten years food industry experience.
Knowledge and skill in conducting basic product development projects/experiments
Good understanding and knowledge of FDA and USDA regulatory guidelines, and other applicable industry standards
Proficient project management skills. Interpersonal skills. Supervisory skills.
Ability to analyze different situations and adapt as required.
