The Assistant Store Manager (Asst Store Mgr) is responsible for
supporting the Store Manager in meeting or exceeding sales, unit and
profit targets as outlined in the AOP (Annual Operating Plan)
established for the location. The Asst Store Mgr must protect the
assets of the Company by assisting the Store Manager in managing all
functions within the store. Play a lead role in coaching and
directing store associates to ensure optimal store performance. The
Asst Store Mgr is responsible for being a role model to associates by
being accountable for job responsibilities and process execution. The
Asst Store Mgr should ensure customer satisfaction is delivered in
all areas of sales and service. The Asst Store Mgr is responsible for
supporting the Store Manager in the expectations of customer
satisfaction, safety, sales and profit goals. Setting the example
with following policy, following the established process and staying
within compliance is the responsibility of the Asst Store Mgr. The
Asst Store Mgr will assist with maintaining all equipment to function
properly and safely. The Asst Store Mgr also completes additional
duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
High school diploma or GED required
Associates'' or Bachelor''s degree in Business or Automotive field desired
Two or more years of management experience or equivalent business experience is required
Prior experience managing two or more people as well as sales experience , preferably in the retail industry
Valid driver''s license and ability to drive company and customer vehicles is required
Ability to work a flexible schedule to cover business operational needs , including weekends and holidays
Ability to use computers and various applications and programs to support sales and operations
Ability to manage operations and lead a team of associates with business acumen and leadership skills
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, grip, handle, lift/ carry up to 60 pounds, and push/pull up to 60 pounds up to 2/3 of the work day
Must also have the ability to lift / carry over 60 pounds and push/pull over 60 pounds up to 1/3 of the work day

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
