HHOL Test

This position's responsibilities include inventory management, procurement of goods, receipt and internal distribution of supplies.
Enters information into the hospital computer system, and assists with all aspects of materials management.
Works with hospital support services on special projects and performs a range of support service activities.
Responsible for overseeing supply chain related services including but not limited to inventory management, warehousing, shipping, receiving and related handling of materials and equipment in the procedural areas of the procedural areas of Surgery and Cath Lab.
Work ScheduleMaximum of forty hours per week, Monday through Friday.
From time to time the number of hours per day may vary in order to meet hospital demands.
Qualifications/SpecificationsEducation:
Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of related supply chain management experience allowed for substitution of degree required.
Licensure/Certification:
None required.
Experience:
At least four years work experience in the surgical or Cath Lab arena, preferably as a clinician preferred.
Essential Technical/Motor Skills:
Able to operate 10-key and computer keyboard.
Able to manipulate and operate printers and other computer equipment.
Able to do minor maintenance tasks.
Interpersonal Skills:
Must be able to interact and communicate in English, both orally and written, with others in a culturally diverse environment and participate and respond in a collaborative, collective manner.
Must be able to work both individually and in a team setting.
Essential Physical Requirements:
Able to lift heavy cartons of computer paper and other hospital supplies; able to work in an environment of sustained physical activity.
Able to lift and carry items weighing 50 pounds or more.
Critical Cognitive Abilities:
Able to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English.
Essential Sensory Requirements:
Must be able to read and interpret information quickly and apply to day-to-day operations.
Exposure to Hazards:
This position is not constantly exposed to airborne or blood borne pathogens or radiological or chemical hazards, other than those identified in the MSDS as common to a business office setting.
When in clinical areas, this position may be exposed to various infectious diseases or other toxins.
