Lafayette Physical Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking Full-Time Registered Nurses, RN for Nights, with physical rehab or med-surge experience.
RNs will provide general nursing care to patients in the hospital by completing a psychosocial and physical, environmental, self-care, educational and discharge planning assessment of the patient through interview, observation and inspection, auscultation, palpitation and documents on all admissions per service line policy; Responsible for identifying patient's present and potential problems from information gathered in the initial and continued assessments; Collaborates with physicians, interdisciplinary team, client and family in making decisions regarding patient's need for nursing care; Initiates problem list within time frame established by service standard using approved taxonomy; Prioritizes problems based on client's health status; Establishes specific and measurable individualized client care goals; Discharge needs/plan reflective of interdisciplinary approach and are initiated on admission.
Shift Differentials paid for Night and Weekend Shifts.

Job Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Louisiana Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure in good standing.
One - two years rehab or med-surg experience or training CRRN Certification preferred BLS Certification.
Ability to read and communicate effectively and positively in English.
