As a Claims Processor, you will be responsible for accurately processing and managing insurance claims.
This role requires strong medical documentation and coding skills, as well as knowledge of workers compensation law and insurance verification.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Review and process insurance claims in accordance with company policies and procedures - Verify accuracy of medical documentation and coding - Ensure compliance with workers compensation laws and regulations - Conduct insurance verification to confirm coverage and eligibility - Maintain accurate records of claims, payments, and denials - Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to resolve claim issues - Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in claims processing required.
Experience in the eyecare industry preferred but not required.
