River Oaks Retirement Manor River Oaks Retirement Manor Lafayette, LA Lafayette, LA Full-time Full-time $70,000 - $100,000 a year $70,000 - $100,000 a year Duties - Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the organization - Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care - Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations - Collaborate with other departments to coordinate patient care and ensure efficient operations - Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and medical record documentation - Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes - Manage the budget for nursing services and allocate resources effectively - Stay up-to-date with advancements in medical technology, nursing practices, and industry trends Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred - Current RN license in good standing - Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role - Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and medical records management - Experience in home health or nursing home settings is highly desirable - Excellent leadership and communication skills - Ability to effectively manage a team of nurses and support staff - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Note:
