Job Description:
We are seeking a Human Resources leader to join our team.
The successful candidate will be accountable for the development and delivery of employee relations, programs and services that will help our employees reach their full potential in their work and personal lives, while maintaining an entrepreneurial culture.
Position Objectives:
Lead the business through an incredible growth period while protecting the entrepreneurial spirit that defines our culture Promote the growth and development of our associates, both in work and in their personal lives Serve as an advisor, counsel, and trusted resource to the senior business leaders Facilitation of organizational and leadership development, recruiting, compensation and employee relations activities Lead and develop improvements for HR processes and services to improve efficiency and ensure legal compliance
Responsibilities:
Help to align business objectives and goals with the company's culture Counsel business leaders on HR issues such as organization design, leadership and team development, succession planning, change management, performance management, training, policy issues, retention strategies and compensation management Partner with leaders to define talent needs, and plan workforce and talent pipeline requirements in line with business strategy.
Support leaders in providing associates with development opportunities that align with current and future business requirements.
Collaborate with business leaders and managers to ensure solid plans are in place to drive sustained team development through competency assessment and development of employees.
Drive annual HR processes including performance management, talent assessment, succession planning, talent development, compensation planning, annual engagement survey, etc.
Evaluate how the organization works to help improve effectiveness in areas such as culture, structure, work processes, teamwork, and leadership.
Support the recruitment, development, and career advancement of a diverse group of employees at all levels.
Provide guidance and coaching to all levels of the organization to ensure Work/Life, Employee Development and Culture initiatives are effectively integrated with strategic business objectives.
Make recommendations and take action to drive continuous improvement of HR practices and policies.
Collaborate with other high-level Leaders at each Business Unit to identify and resolve organizational issues.
Responsible for assigned functional projects and serves as the lead in executing organization-wide initiatives.
Improve communications and engagement by actively engaging with leaders and employees and driving actions as a result of regular engagement surveys.
Partner with leaders to develop action plans based on feedback and data.
Take personal ownership for key HR metrics (recruitment, development, retention, D&I etc.
) and partners with leaders to dive to root cause and develop and execute appropriate countermeasures where needed.
Up to 25% domestic travel may be required.
Knowledge Skills, and Abilities:
Comprehensive knowledge of current and key HR practices-employee relations, compensation, talent development, HRIS, HR law and recruitment/staffing An ability to influence senior executives, establish and maintain collaborative partnerships, and provide thought leadership Balances needs of business partners to identify, build, and deliver upon opportunities while considering cultural and ethical factors in making fair decisions Familiarity with influencing compensation decisions to attract the best talent and aligning compensation with contributions and growth potential Managerial courage to provide direct and actionable feedback, support others in facing difficult situations/decisions while willing to do the same, and champion potentially unpopular ideas based on strong judgment.
Develop and lead the implementation of projects in a fast paced, challenging environment with multiple, competing priorities Ability to architect and implement large changes and to maneuver easily between conception and operation Business Acumen relative to understanding financials, including P&L, budget planning and execution, revenue and operating profit, headcount forecasting and budgeting etc.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills Continuous improvement mindset in an established business system, including lean process tools such as Kaizen and Problem-Solving Process Industry experience helpful, although a background in most types of manufacturing industries would likely translate well Education or Equivalent
Experience:

years relevant experience, of which at least 3 served in a leadership capacity in a similar sized business Experience with growth through M&A preferred Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including talent management, compensation practices, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and employment laws Proven and demonstrable experience in driving the HR function within a fast-paced environment Relationship Building; Interpersonal and Communication Skills Job Type:
