Brown & Brown Insurance has an exciting opportunity available for an Benefits Consultant - Sales Executive for our team in Lafayette, LA.
Primary responsibilities include the sale of new Employee Benefits business and assistance in the renewal of Producer sold Employee Benefits Business.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Must be able to demonstrate strong sales techniques and must be able to secure clients within first 4 to 6 months of employment.
Identifying prospects for business from existing and prospective clients.
Maintaining a consistently strong and active new business pipeline.
Developing new relationships with individuals responsible for insurance and Employee Benefits decisions at prospective clients.
Aggressively identifying and pursuing cross-selling opportunities amongst existing clients.
Obtaining referral leads from existing clients.
Maintaining consistent and high-quality touch points with clients and prospects.
Asist with Renewals for Producer's book of business.
Build and nurture relationships with clients and prospects.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
) Exceptional telephone demeanor Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality 1 - 3 years experience in a similar position, preferred not required Life and Health Insurance License (Louisiana), preferred not required CEBS, RHU, or GBA certifications, preferred not required WHAT WE OFFER:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
