These tasks may involve a simple shampoo, vacuum or more specific work like cleaning the trunk, ashtray or engine.
Detailers usually work under supervision and are expected to work long hours with frequent standing and moving.
They may be exposed to extreme heat or cold as most detailing in perfomed outside.
An auto porter transports vehicles in a variety of ways.
It may be short transports, such as across a parking lot, or it could be to transport to our other dealerships.
The porter may drive a vehicle or haul it via transport carrier and must have a good driving record.
In addition to physically moving the autos, the job also requires identifying the vehicle prior to transport, making damage inspections, ensuring drive-ability or transport-ability, and in the event of a transport haul, ensuring the vehicle is safely placed on the carrier.
In some instances, most often at auto dealerships, the porter may also wash and inspect the vehicle and sometimes refer it for repair.
Must have valid drivers license and be able to pass a background check.
