Overall Purpose of the JobTo improve profitability and enhance competitive advantage by accessing optimum contract rates and commercial terms with new and existing clients across area of responsibility.
Managing the commercial input of proposals, bids and tenders.
Ensure full compliance with all company internal processes, procedures and legislation.
Ensure accurate and complete compliance of commercial packages for enquires, invitations to tender and contract extensions.
Providing analysis of the market and competitors positions to maximize the benefit to the area of responsibility.
Key Activities and AccountabilitiesReceive and coordinate client requests for proposals, convene meetings to discuss and organize the receipt of proposal documents, obtain and compile final documents for submission while maintaining and safeguarding confidential information.
Ensure contract and quote register is up to date and files are accessible and clearly indexed.
Review, manage and, where necessary, propose amendments to existing contract rates, pricing structures and commercial termsPrepare business cases, Bid Evaluation Reports, and analysis to support business opportunitiesSupport Sales Team with troubleshooting use of and data entry into Company's Salesforce system.
Participate in client commercial negotiations in conjunction with Commercial Manager.
Review commercial contracts and Notes to Pricing for commercial issues and risks.
Support Commercial Manager with internal reporting requirements, as neededLiaise with and support Finance, Operations, Legal, and other departments as appropriate for area of responsibilityMonitor customer tenders for potential issues and recommend innovative solutions for resolutionLiaise with internal and external departments as and when required to ensure all questions and queries are resolved and liaise with manager on any issues or concernsActively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures, and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to Expro's reputation is minimized.
If necessary, report possible violations or conflicts of interest.
Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes, and systems.
Takes an active part in quality improvement processes.
Identify and report any deficiencies to supervisor and obtain authorization for any deviations from standard procedures.
Actively comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and processes.
Promote HSE awareness; take responsibility and be accountable for own safety and safety of others.
Demonstrate the personal application of HSE procedures in daily performance and always follow the 10 Safety House Rules.
Ensure objectives set under Employee Development Plan are met.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Knowledge and QualificationsDegree or professional qualification in Business Administration, Finance, or Economic related preferred or equivalent experienceMinimum 2 years experience in a related roleFamiliarity with Contracts and financial statements/accounting principles.
Solid quantitative and qualitative assessment and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to constructively challenge ideas and assumptionsAdvanced MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint software.
Familiarity with Salesforce software is highly preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
