What you'll be doing:
The Compliance Analyst will monitor, review, analyze and communicate new and changed Federal and State laws, rules, and regulations.
This position will work with all departments to implement processes to ensure compliance.
The Compliance Analyst will report to the VP, Compliance.
Monitors new, existing, and proposed federal and state laws and regulations and payor rules by reviewing regulatory bulletins, websites, and other sources of information.
Collaborates with others to ensure appropriate staff receives training on laws/regulations.
Performs analysis of laws/regulations to determine impact/risk to the business and ensure appropriate processes are implemented for compliance with such laws/regulations.
Collaborates with various departments affected to ensure compliance with laws/regulations.
Contributes to Company-wide Risk Assessment Advises Operations Teams of state specific NP/PA requirements and ensures appropriate process implementation is carried out in order to remain compliant.
Assists Business Development, as needed, with applicable state laws and payor regulations when moving into new states.
Who/What we are looking for:
You have a bachelor's degree preferred.
You have 3-5 years of experience in Healthcare Compliance You have CHC certification.
You are CLA or CP certified preferred.
You have strong analytical and research skills.
Must be able to recognize areas of the Company affected by laws and regulations.
You have capacity to evaluate practical implications of laws, regulations, and related interpretations in the context of SCP Health's clinical and business settings and recommend process implementation, as necessary.
You can assess and detect risk areas.
You can demonstrate proficiency and effectiveness in settings and circumstances where available guidance is ambiguous, untested, unproven, or incomplete.
You have excellent organizational skills and must be thorough.
You can accurately interpret/implement regulatory standards and legal requirements.
You have strong computer skills.
You have strong verbal and written communication skills, and comfortability in communicating with Leadership.
You can work independently and handle multiple tasks/projects at the same time.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
