Position Summary The position of 'Sr. Manager - Geoscience Solutions', exists for the purpose of supporting the 'Director, Survey Services' in leading a high-performance technical organization, partnered with matrixed support organizations, to organize for effective/efficient execution and outstanding overall performance. The 'Sr. Manager - Geoscience Solutions' works to evangelize and enable sales, service excellence management and partner teams, aimed at an increase in market & customer engagement, and resulting in channel revenue. Demonstrated safety leadership and promotion of company values is a critical component of this position. The position will also work in concert with key Oceaneering leaders in other US & International locations to coordinate large-scale project work or synergistic revenue, and facilitate resource sharing. Duties & Responsibilities Serve a leadership role in Survey Service's continued growth and success Manage, coach, and mentor multiple teams, with varied operational focus Supports Director, Survey Services with setting BU strategy and takes the lead on Geoscience strategy formulation. Oversight of the day to day Geoscience operations within the company Comply with company safety rules and training, proactively represent the culture of visible safety leadership and company's mission and values Provide collective management reporting for area of responsibility, to the BU director and executive management Has accountability and provides quality assurance in the financial diligence of their operating group Lead contributor in the planning of business strategies associated with revenue and execution improvements Lead high-value proposal submittals, legal agreement negotiations and the execution of complex deals Represent area of responsibility towards the compilation & successful execution of Survey Service's annual business plan Oversee quality assurance in active management of complex projects, inclusive of planning, budgeting, customer interaction, 3rd party contracts, procurement & revenue collection Promotes & sets requirements for continuous customer communications and advancing client relationships - aimed at increased sales Actively supports Survey Service's continuous improvement efforts to ensure that business and technical practices remain highly competitive Work with company-wide regional management and operations teams, to improve and execute business development in international regions Maintain a high level of customer & peer communications, and industry engagement Attend meetings in clients' offices and give company presentations, and attend trade shows as needed Completion of domestic & international travel in support of customer engagement and on-site visits Collaboration within the Oceaneering organization for opportunity development & best use of resourcing. Associate Degree 5
years field/industry experience3
years in a management role Computer office skills and ability to operate programs such as Microsoft Office products (Work, Excel, Project, etc.), Google products and ability to use Peoplesoft Entrepreneurial, self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention-to-detail within a fast paced, dynamic service delivery environment Fundamental understanding of cost-accounting and P&L management for an operating group Fundamental understanding of quality management concepts DESIRED Bachelor's degree MBA a plus, or relevant experience within the areas of business, economics or international relations Technical degree; working knowledge of survey &/or Oil & Gas industry practices and technologies Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences Demonstrated track record of driving emerging/disruptive technologies Ability to qualify for offshore project attendance
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Process Management, Plant & Facilities Management, Operations ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
