Key
Responsibilities:
Center Monitoring:
Maintain flexibility with respect to shift changes as needed to ensure 24/7 coverage.
Monitor facility operations, including medication distribution and housekeeping duties.
Warm-up and distribute meals to shelter guests with care and compassion.
Provide crisis prevention/intervention and supportive counseling as needed.
Conduct regular hallway checks and document observations.
Assist with transportation needs and distribute supplies accordingly.
Coordinate emergency shelter plans and communicate effectively with supervisors.
Uphold privacy standards and observe guests with dignity and respect at all times.
Service Coordination Support:
Document client activities and maintain accurate records.
Assist with minimal data entry tasks.
Report emergency situations promptly to on-call staff.
Collaborate with Service Coordinators to ensure client needs are addressed effectively.
Job
Qualifications:
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience:
Two years' experience in a social service-related field preferred.
Ability to maintain appropriate behavior and personal boundaries.
Proficiency in de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution.
Job Specifications Medium:
Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
