Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing to include purchasing responsibilities within department.
### Roles And Responsibilities
Payroll responsibilities are inclusive of but not limited to the following:
Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing
Weekly review of timesheets
Update payroll records for changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, job titles and department/ division transfers
Calculate and prepare payroll tax payments and liabilities
Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Purchasing responsibilities are inclusive of but not limited to the following:
Prepare purchase orders through accounting system
Maintain office supply stock to meet requirements
Place orders with suppliers or vendors, ensuring proper documentation is collected
### Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Associates degree or BS preferred but not required
Experience with payroll processing preferred but not required
Experience with accounting software and Microsoft office products
Strong analytical and data entry skills
Attention to detail and thoroughness
Highly organized
Ability to maintain confidentiality
