Billing Specialist
Hours: 40 hours
Pay: determined by experience
The billing specialist will provide fiscal operations review and support to finance. The billing specialist will serve as first customer service liaison with patients for billing issues. Will manage company revenue life cycles including developing system for charge collections and reconciliations. Will perform daily/monthly/ reconciliations of same. Review of claims processing with updates to manager.
Job Duties:
Follow up on NSF checks, gather missing information, review and manager outstanding accounts receivables.
Provide support for customer account inquiries and complaints.
Follow up on patient accounts with large balances, acquiring status updates.
Reconciliation of discharge applications with recommendations to manager.
Reconciliation of daily sheets/superbills for all clinics.
Review and monitoring of deposits for all clinics.
Job Requirements
HS/GED
1-3 years experience
Additional:
All applicants will be subject to a pre-employment background check
Applicant will be subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment
Working proficiency on MS office, and excel
Must be able to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally
